The US League of Small Town Mayors is actively seeking members and those interested in utilizing our network for the benefit of small towns and cities across the country. Issues

The US League of Small Town Mayors official website will launch in summer 2009. In addition to providing a "cost effective" collaboration and information sharing platform, the League will be able to assist with key issues faced by small town mayors, including:

  • Funding opportunities/grant possibilities (federal and private)
  • Identifying effective and affordable technology solutions
  • Educational opportunities/Legislative issues
  • Advocacy with impending development from large companies
  • Economic development and rural entrepreneurship models
  • Designing, planning, how to improve PLACE
  • Tourism and cultural development
